Scope and commitment
This statement applies to www.orto.live. ORTO wants disabled people to be able to obtain the same information, make enquiries and request a Free Time-Saving Review without unnecessary barriers.
ORTO uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as the benchmark for designing and reviewing the website.
Accessibility features
The current website includes:
- a skip link and semantic page headings and landmarks;
- keyboard access to links, forms, the mobile menu and frequently asked questions;
- a high-visibility keyboard focus indicator on interactive controls;
- labelled form controls, linked field errors, an error summary and polite status announcements;
- text alternatives for informative images, with decorative icons hidden from assistive technology;
- responsive layouts that support browser zoom and reflow to narrow screens; and
- reduced or removed animation when the browser's reduced-motion preference is enabled.
Assessment and conformance status
This rebuilt V5 website targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The target is not a claim of conformance. A complete accessibility evaluation of this version has not yet been completed.
A complete independent WCAG conformance audit has not yet been carried out, so ORTO does not currently claim that every page fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Known limitations and alternatives
Interactive features require JavaScript
On narrow screens, the navigation links remain visible when JavaScript is unavailable. Frequently asked questions on the homepage, How It Works and Packages use native disclosure controls and also remain usable. The interactive demo, embedded Free Time-Saving Review survey and secure contact form depend on JavaScript. Without it, the contact form cannot obtain its required security token or show the normal confirmation journey.
Direct links to the main pages remain available in the footer. To make an enquiry without using a form, email support@orto.live or telephone +44 7378 856367. ORTO intends to add more complete no-JavaScript fallbacks.
Assistive-technology testing coverage
The current self-evaluation has not yet included a systematic test with a representative range of screen readers, voice-control software, screen magnifiers and forced-colours modes. This is a limitation of the assessment rather than a confirmed barrier, but compatibility issues may remain. Reports from people using these technologies are particularly welcome.
Feedback and alternative formats
If you encounter an accessibility problem, need information in a different format or need help completing an enquiry, contact ORTO:
- email support@orto.live;
- telephone +44 7378 856367; or
- use the contact page.
Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, what went wrong, and the browser or assistive technology used if known. For an alternative format, explain the format or adjustment that would help. ORTO will discuss a reasonable alternative where the website cannot meet the need directly.
ORTO will acknowledge accessibility feedback as soon as reasonably practicable. Resolving an issue may take longer depending on its cause.
Further support
ORTO would like the opportunity to investigate and resolve a problem first. If you need independent information about equality and human-rights issues in England or Wales, the Equality Advisory and Support Service provides informal advice and support and can be contacted on 0808 800 0082. It does not provide legal representation.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared and last reviewed on 20 October 2026 following an ORTO self-evaluation of the current website. It will be reviewed after material design or service changes, after further accessibility testing, or when a reported problem identifies a needed update.
