Scope and commitment
This statement applies to www.orto.live. ORTO wants disabled people to be able to obtain the same information, make enquiries and request a Free Time-Saving Review without unnecessary barriers.
ORTO uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as the benchmark for designing and reviewing the website.
Accessibility features
The current website includes:
- a skip link and semantic page headings and landmarks;
- keyboard access to links, forms, the mobile menu and frequently asked questions;
- a high-visibility keyboard focus indicator on interactive controls;
- labelled form controls, linked field errors, an error summary and polite status announcements;
- text alternatives for informative images, with decorative icons hidden from assistive technology;
- responsive layouts that support browser zoom and reflow to narrow screens; and
- reduced or removed animation when the browser's reduced-motion preference is enabled.
Assessment and conformance status
The website has been self-evaluated with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its target. The review covered all 13 public pages and included page structure, headings, labels, alternative text, local links, keyboard interactions, form-error behaviour, responsive layouts, reduced-motion handling and colour-token contrast.
A complete independent WCAG conformance audit has not yet been carried out, so ORTO does not currently claim that every page fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Known limitations and alternatives
Interactive features require JavaScript
The mobile navigation, frequently asked question controls and the accessible form-validation and confirmation journey depend on JavaScript. If JavaScript is unavailable, the small-screen menu and question controls do not open as intended, and submitting a form may show an unformatted server response instead of the normal confirmation page.

Assistive-technology testing coverage
The current self-evaluation has not yet included a systematic test with a representative range of screen readers, voice-control software, screen magnifiers and forced-colours modes. This is a limitation of the assessment rather than a confirmed barrier, but compatibility issues may remain. Reports from people using these technologies are particularly welcome.

Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, what went wrong, and the browser or assistive technology used if known. For an alternative format, explain the format or adjustment that would help. ORTO will discuss a reasonable alternative where the website cannot meet the need directly.
ORTO aims to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 1–2 hours during normal operating periods. Resolving an issue may take longer depending on its cause.

Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared and last reviewed on 20 August 2026 following an ORTO self-evaluation of the current website. It will be reviewed after material design or service changes, after further accessibility testing, or when a reported problem identifies a needed update.
